DCC is a feature on your terminal that allows your foreign customers to choose to pay in their own currency instead of Danish kroner.
With DCC, you enable your foreign customers to see the exact amount in their own currency at the time of purchase and do not have to wait until the money is deducted to see the amount.
You get more than just smiles from your customers in return when you are offering DCC. You earn 1% of the turnover on sales with DCC. So, it can definitely pay off to inform about the service.

It's easy to do on the terminal. When you pay, you can select the amount in your own currency on the display of the terminal.
You don't need to worry about the exchange rate. If you've paid a higher rate than what you could get from your own bank, Nets offers a 150% reimbursement for the difference.
Additionally, you pay a small exchange fee to use DCC, which is included in the amount you pay.

DCC is a solution for currency conversion at the time of the transaction. Foreign customers paying with Visa or Mastercard will be presented with the option of paying in their own currency or the local currency.
When the customer chooses to pay in their own currency, the payment is made, for a fee, at a current exchange rate which is presented in the terminal. The exchange rate is delivered online by Nets and is updated several times a day.
DCC is available for more than 50 different currencies, with the most common ones being: EUR, USD, CHF, GBP, JPY, SEK, NOK, DKK, AUD, CAD, PLN, ISK, CNY, and RUB.
Offering DCC to your customers doesn't cost you anything. When your customers choose to pay with their own currency, you earn a 1% commission on the transaction amount.
